Mega Man fans rejoice! During Capcom’s Mega Man 30th Anniversary Livestream, Mega Man 11 was officially announced. It’s coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch in late 2018.

Mega Man 11 will use a modern 2.5D design with hand-drawn characters and environments. Like previous games, the blue bomber will battle Robot Masters and add their weapons to his arsenal. When wielding the powers of a Robot Master, Mega Man’s entire outfit and design will change to match that theme.

Capcom promises Mega Man 11 will be designed for both fans and newcomers, and feature multiple difficulty options. Mega Man 11 is the first mainline Mega Man title since 2010’s Mega Man 10, which featured a retro, pixelated art style.

Also coming in 2018 are Mega Man Legacy Collection (Mega Man 1-6) and Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 (Mega Man 7-10) for Nintendo Switch. Mega Man Legacy Collection will include a Rewind feature. This feature will also be added to existing owners for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The Mega Man Legacy Collection games are coming Spring 2018.

Additionally all eight Mega Man X games will arrive on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch in Summer 2018.

Mega Man Legacy Collection 2 launched last August for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Mega Man X was featured on the SNES Classic Edition which released earlier this year.

December 2017 kicks off the series’ 30th anniversary, which Capcom will be celebrating throughout the next next year. More information on Mega Man 11 will be teased throughout the year.
