Overwatch isn’t quite done celebrating its one year anniversary. Blizzard’s online hero shooter is providing double the experience this weekend. The Double XP Weekend is ongoing right now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and ends Monday June 12 at 11:59 pm Pacific/2:59 am Eastern.

The 100% bonus applies to nearly every source of experience, including:

  • Time spent in a match
  • Completing a match
  • Completing consecutive matches
  • Winning a match
  • Backfilling a match in progress
  • Earning medals

The only source not affected is the First Win of the Day XP bonus, which is still a flat 1500 XP.

Experience is used to level up. Each level up rewards a loot box. Currently all loot boxes provide the limited time Anniversary Loot Boxes during Overwatch’s Anniversary Event, which also ends June 12. You can earn new skins, dance emotes, sprays, etc. The Double XP Weekend is a great chance to earn these special loot boxes.

If you haven’t played Overwatch since the Anniversary Event began, you’ll also receive one free loot box for logging in.

Earlier this month Season 5 of Ranked Competitive Play began. To join you’ll have to be at least level 25 and complete ten placement matches. The placement matches will determine your skill rating and ranked tier. Completing your placement matches each season will net a unique spray and player icon. You can also earn Competitive Points each match and receive them at the end of the season. These points can be used to purchased golden versions of heroes’ weapons. Each Overwatch Ranked Season lasts about three months.

Overwatch Double XP Weekend is available now. It ends June 12.
