In honor of the 20th anniversary of Lara Croft, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics are giving back to the fans who have supported the franchise. During the launch week for Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, anyone who logs into the game will receive 100,000 in-game credits free of charge. This special gift is available for every platform internationally, so even players who’ve been fans of the series for only a day and live on the other side of the globe can reap the benefits of this offer.
Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration is an upcoming release of the critically acclaimed Rise of the Tomb Raider which includes additional exclusive content and items. Fans who purchase the bundle will get a new story chapter called “Blood Ties,” co-op support for Endurance mode, and the zombie combat mode “Lara’s Nightmare.” The 20 Year Celebration also includes VR support, five classic Lara Croft skins, a new difficulty mode, and a 20th anniversary outfit and gun. All previously released DLC comes with the bundle as well.
The 20 Year Celebration pack comes out on October 11th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. In the meantime, fans can check out the teaser for Square Enix’s Tomb Raider 20 Year Celebration Challenge. The competition, which pitted Internet stars against one another in a battle to be the ultimate tomb raider, will be dropping its first episode on October 6th. Fans can look forward to the second episode as well which comes out on the 12th.
