During the Microsoft press conference at E3, Electronic Arts announced the next installment in its very popular Plants vs. Zombies franchise. Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 will continue with the same wacky gameplay of its predecessor, Garden Warfare. That game is a third-person shooter where the players can choose to play as either a plant or zombie and then as different characters within each class. The trailer for Garden Warfare 2 shows new types of plants and zombies, including some that have been introduced in Plants vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time on mobile devices.

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is scheduled for release in early 2016.
