To coincide with the release of the new Black Panther feature film on February 16, Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 has received a new Black Panther DLC pack this week. The pack costs $2.99 and adds a new level and characters drawn from the film.

Black Panther and sister Shri were already in Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2, and Wakanda was a full level in the main story and free roaming world of Chronopolis. The Black Panther Movie Character and Level Pack adds specific characters and outfits from the upcoming film: Black Panther (Vibranium Suit), Okoye, Nakia, Killmonger, Ulysses Klaue, and Everett K. Ross.

The new level features a dangerous new area of Wakanda, where Shuri and T’Challa must battle mutated creatures and Killmonger’s army.

The Black Panther level pack is included in the Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 season pass. The season pass ($14.99) includes six Level Packs (which also include characters), and four Character Packs. Thus far the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Level Pack, and the Champions, Out of Time, and Agents of Atlas Character Packs have been released. The Season Pass Level Packs are all based on upcoming Marvel film and TV properties, including Avengers: Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is heavily based on the MCU version of Marvel’s comic heroes, though with a completely original story.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 launched last November for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. It’s rated E for Everyone.
