The Carowinds theme park in North Carolina recently added a new double launch coaster called Copperhead Strike. Soon players of Planet Coaster can play with the exact same ride. Copperhead Strike will be added as a free update to owners of Planet Coaster on April 16. Also launching on April 16 is the Classic Rides Collection DLC pack, for $10.99.

Copperhead Strike has been recreated from the original ride blueprints. Here’s the official description:

This twisting and looping coaster train is beautifully themed like an original American hot-rod. The Copperhead Strike packs a real punch with its double launching track layout which boasts an inverted top hat, two 360 loops, a corkscrew, and a unique jojo roll straight out the station.

The collaboration with Carowinds isn’t the first time Frontier has partnered with real-world theme parks. They previously released the Steel Vengeance roller coaster from Cedar Point theme park in Ohio. Both parks are owned by Cedar Fair.

The Classic Rides Collection will be the latest in a long line of paid DLC packs for Planet Coaster. The Classic Rides Collection adds nine new rides and coasters, along with one variant. Each is drawn from iconic attractions from parks around the world. Though not to be confused with vintage rides, which were released in the Vintage Pack last year.

Planet Coaster celebrated its second anniversary last fall, adding a Thememaker’s Toolkit to create your own scenery items. Planet Coaster is available on PC (Steam) and rated E for Everyone.
