One of the best indie RPGS of the last few years, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, is coming to mobile. Publisher HandyGames is bringing the 2017 console and PC RPG to iOS and Android on August 1.

Battle Chasers: Nightwar was the debut game of indie studio Airship Syndicate, co-founded by comic book artist, writer, and designer Joe Madureira (formerly of Virgil Games). Airship Syndicate created Nightwar as an adaptation of Joe Mad’s short-lived but excellent Battle Chasers comic book series of the late 90s. The game is a 30-hour RPG inspired by 90s console RPGs with dungeon crawling, exploration, and turn-based battles with colorful characters and enemies.

Pre-order and pre-registration is available now on iOS and Android. It will launch as a premium title with a $9.99 one-time price tag and no in-app purchases or microtransactions.

Battle Chasers: Nightwar is also available on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch, and Xbox One. It’s rated T for Teen for Alcohol, Blood and Gore, Fantasy Violence, Mild Language, and Suggestive Themes.
