Carbon Studio, the folks behind the stylish VR puzzler Alice, have announced The Wizards, another VR title. On July 28, The Wizards will be available in early access on Steam and and on the Oculus Store.

The Wizards is described as a VR spellcaster that helps people “fulfill their childhood dreams of becoming powerful magicians.” They’ve got that childhood dream thing right, I think. Who didn’t want to be a wizard when they were a kid?

The game will allow players to use the motion controllers of HTC Vive or Oculus Rift to cast spells and defeat enemies. It will have a story mode and six basic spells with ways to upgrade and gain points.

“The protagonist is a young wizard traveling in time to protect the Realm of Men from the destructive enemy forces. During the adventure, the player visits different lands and faces varying opponents in a high fantasy world. Spell casting in The Wizards is based on the energy of the four elements, and the key to the victory is adapting your tactics to the flow of the battle.”

The game will be priced at $24.99.
