A special “Explorer’s Edition” has been announced for upcoming action-RPG Dragon Quest Heroes II. The Explorer’s Edition includes 15 exclusive items as DLC. The items are all weapons modeled after classic Dragon Quest enemies, such as the Slime Knight’s Shield and Golem Gauntlets. You also get reversible cover artwork for the physical box that shows the Adventure Log.
You can pre-order the Dragon Quest Heroes II Day One Explorer’s Edition from the Square Enix Store or the PlayStation Store for $59.99. If you order through the PlayStation Store you also receive:

A new Overview trailer was released that details the sequel’s combat and gameplay. The biggest news is the addition of online multiplayer, which should fit well with the action-RPG style set within the colorful Dragon Quest world. The multiplayer will support up to four players.
Dragon Quest Heroes II is also coming to PC via Steam. It will release simultaneously on PC and PlayStation 4 on April 25, 2017. The sequel was also announced for the Nintendo Switch in a combo pack with the first game, titled Dragon Quest Heroes I-II. No release date for the Switch version has been announced.
Dragon Quest Heroes II released in Japan last Summer and has been rated T for Teen by the ESRB for Fantasy Violence, Mild Blood and Mild Suggestive Themes.
