In a press release Nintendo detailed several new games and a new Pikachu Yellow Edition for Nintendo 3DS in 2017.

“Nintendo 3DS is a portal to one-of-a-kind Nintendo adventures starring classic characters like Mario, Yoshi and all their friends,” said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America Senior VP. “Our hit system offers a wide variety of memorable experiences for adventurers of all ages.”

The Pikachu Yellow Edition features the famous Pokémon emblazoned on the cover in a hand-drawn style with bright yellow coloring.

The Pikachu Yellow Edition New Nintendo 3DS XL launches on Feburary 24 with a retail price of $199.99. As with other New Nintendo 3DS XL, a charging cable is not included, but is compatible with cables from older 2DS and 3DS models.

Nintendo boasted the most successful quarter of sales in Nintendo 3DS history thanks to record-breaking sales of Pokémon Sun and Moon. A handful of new 3DS titles are coming in 2017, listed below.

Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World – The 3DS version of 2015’s Wii U title, featuring Yoshi in a platforming world of yarn. The 3DS version has new bonus levels starring sidekick Poochy. It launches on February 3. A demo is available now on the Nintendo eShop.

Tank Troopers – A tank warfare shooter, exclusively on the Nintendo eShop. Up to six players can battle in teams or free-for-all in local multiplayer matches. Tank Troopers launches on Feburary 16.

Mario Sports Superstars – A collection of Mario-themed sports titles, including Soccer, Tennis, Golf, Baseball and Horse Racing. Games can be played locally and online. Mario Sports Superstars launches in March.

Untitled Pikmin Game for Nintendo 3DS – A new entry in the side-scrolling Pikmin series is coming to Nintendo 3DS in 2017. Players tap the touch screen to throw Pikmin, using their abilities to solve puzzles and defeat enemies.

Finally, two older 3DS games are being given the Nintendo Selects treatment: Kirby Triple Deluxe and Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. This means they’ll be sold in slightly new packaging with a retail price of $19.99. They will be available beginning mid-February.
