Rise of the Tomb Raider, the award-winning second game in the reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise will finally be coming to PlayStation 4 in October. That’s nearly a year later than it was released on Xbox One.

The PlayStation 4 version will feature a new story mission called Blood Ties, which will also be compatible with PlayStation VR. In addition to the new content, the release includes co-op play for the Endurance mode, and all of the previous DLC, as well as outfits and Expedition Cards.

“This year we celebrate 20 years of the iconic Lara Croft,” said Ron Rosenberg, co-Head of Studio at Crystal Dynamics in an official release. “This provided the perfect opportunity for us to deliver a new Tomb Raider experience. With the addition of PlayStation VR support, you can play the world through Lara’s eyes for the first time in franchise history.”

The new Blood Ties DLC in a big departure from traditional Tomb Raider locations, will take place inside Croft Manor. The location was included in the main game, but only through cutscenes. It’s also an interesting change from the massive landscapes and large-scale buildings we’re used to seeing. Well, I suppose Croft Manor could be massive, but it’s likely to be neat and pretty, instead of the sites that are old and in desperate need of repair.

The new DLC will be available for Xbox One and PC players as part of the Season Pass, or they can bought individually. All of it is scheduled to be released on Oct. 11.
