As a way to drive excitement for Battlefield 5, EA is offering a previously premium Battlefield 4 DLC pack for free. Called Dragon’s Teeth, the expansion contains maps, an extra game mode and a new gadget.

A post in the Road to Battlefield blog on the official site says, “A new Battlefield is coming later this year, and we’re celebrating by keeping the action going in Battlefield 4 and Battlefield Hardline. Over the next few months we’ll be giving away previously released expansion packs for both games to anyone playing on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Origin for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3. There are also new Community Missions and a whole lot more to get excited about.”

The Dragon’s Teeth expansion is available for free starting today and continuing through May 10. In addition to the free pack, if you participate in any online multiplayer match and get 2.5 million Melee Kills during the same time period, you can get a gold battlepack.

EA is expected to unveil the details of Battlefield 5 in a special premiere event that will happen this Friday, May 10 at 1 p.m. PST.
