Electronic Arts outlined the details of the upcoming DLC for Star Wars: Battlefront, and it includes some very cool stuff. The DLC, called Outer Rim, will let you do battle on two iconic locations, and will contain new playable characters and a entirely new gameplay mode.

The first new location for battles is Sullust, a world mentioned but never seen in the films. DICE, Battlefront’s developer, was given the go-ahead to create the world from the mentions and references in other canon. Sullust also fits in perfectly, as it provides a very different environment from the other locations currently available in the game. The other new location is Jabba the Hutt’s Palace on Tatooine. Who wouldn’t want to battle there?

The new playable characters are Nien Nunb and the infamous Greedo. The official site says that the latter of the two “will have you shooting first.” The new game mode is called Extraction. Teams of Rebels will be trying to get to an important location to pick up a valuable shipment, but the Empire is there to stop them. Who knew?

Finally, the Outer Rim DLC will thow in some new weapons and items as well. According to the official site for the game, the Relby V-10 rifle, DT-12 blaster pistol, Scatter Gun, Dioxis Grenade, and Adrenaline Stim Star Cards have all been added.

The DLC will be landing later this month. If you bought the Season Pass for the game, this DLC will be free for you.
