In honor of the late David Bowie, who sadly passed away last weekend, Square Enix is giving away free copies of Omikron: The Nomad Soul until January 22. Omikron, which came out in 1999, features Bowie in two cameo scenes. The multi-talented artist also had some influence on the game’s story and design.

Omikron: The Nomad Soul is set on a futuristic distant planet. Its main plot is a murder mystery that breaks the fourth wall by directly asking the player to become involved in the story.

If that sounds intriguing, you can download your free copy now (North America or Europe versions) by entering the code “omikron.” The game is pretty old now, so you might want to check out the system requirements before you download.

Here’s to Bowie.
