This year’s D23 Expo (Disney’s big fan conference) will heavily feature Disney’s new Star Wars releases—as well as Kingdom Hearts III.

On Sunday, August 16, Disney Interactive will present new trailers and gameplay from Disney Infinity 3.0, as well as the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront. Possibly more exciting than new info on the games is the fact that Disney Interactive will be giving away a ton of the figurines for Disney Infinity 3.0. The Disney IPs (intellectual properties) included in Disney Infinity 3.0 are Star Wars and Inside Out.

There are two Star Wars Play Sets and one from Inside Out. Disney is taking advantage of the full Star Wars chronology with Disney Infinity 3.0 Twilight of the Republic. The first Play Set takes place during the Clone Wars period, and Rise Against the Empire takes place during the fight against Darth Vader and Emperor Palpatine. There will be several figures from the Clone Wars series, as well as others from the classic Star Wars films. Check out our full review of what’s inside the Disney Infinity Starter Packs.

For Inside Out, there are figures for each of the main characters from the film. So while Disney Infinity 3.0 won’t be coming out until August 30, D23 is the first chance many fans will have to see these new figures up close and personal.

There will also be some announcements about new Disney Infinity 3.0 characters and Play Sets.

Outside of the presentations, D23 will have interactive Disney Infinity experiences on the show floor, included an augmented reality Toy Box where you can interact with Disney Infinity characters. And if you want to get your hands on Star Wars Battlefront before its November 17 release, this is probably your best chance to do it.

The D23 show features exhibits on all the facets of Disney Interactive.

For those thirsty for more Kingdom Hearts III information, Disney has promised special guests and new information about the long-awaited action-roleplaying game.

If you breathlessly watched Disney Infinity announcements at E3 and lamented because only game industry professionals can attend, D23 should be on your list. A one-day ticket to D23 is $74, with flexible pricing for children and members. Again, the day with the most Disney Infinity and Star Wars stuff will be Sunday, August 16 in Anaheim, Calif.—but the convention runs from August 14–16, if you’re a super Disney fan.

There are also concerts and film showings, among other activities. Check out the D23 website for all the info.
