If you have a kid who likes League of Legends, DOTA 2, or other MOBAs (multiplayer online battle arena games), then pay attention to Gigantic. This upcoming game by Motiga combines shooting guns with fantasy-style attacks to create hectic, exciting group battles. Its defining gameplay feature is the guardian, a giant boss-like creature that moves and fights alongside you.

The art style in Gigantic is beautiful, and the characters look delightfully diverse. The game’s E3 trailer (below) prominently featured Imani, a gun-toting, eye-patched woman of color.

Gigantic will be free to play, which means that it will probably feature optional upgrades for customers willing to pay.

We’re excited to see what happens with this upcoming group fighter!

Gigantic is an Xbox and Windows 10 exclusive, and has been rated T for Teen by the ESRB. The Beta version will be available this coming August.
