Power of Play’s 8th annual 2-day conference is happening May 15-16 at the Meydenbauer Center in Bellevue, WA. The conference is dedicated to celebrating the game and interactive media industry; it brings together tons of industry speakers, technologists, and other cool folks to discuss indie games, virtual reality, and more.

Attendees will be able to network, play games and experience VR, and watch indie game finalists battle for $2,500 in the 2015 Seattle Independent Game Competition. Anyone interested in finding out more about the scene (heads up, young and/or aspiring game devs) should definitely consider going—this is a great opportunity to make contacts and ask questions. And, of course, it’s always fun to test out new technologies.

Pixelkin will be attending and reporting back, so stay tuned for that! Power of Play is hosted by the Washington Interactive Network.
