E-Line Media is the studio behind Never Alone, one of the most interesting games of last year. In Never Alone you play as a young Alaskan Native girl who is trying to save her village from an unending blizzard. Development of Never Alone was a collaborative process with the Alaskan Inupiat people, whose stories and voices feature prominently in the game.

Aside from being a very cool studio, E-Line is also our Seattle neighbor! We sat down with Grant Roberts of E-Line Media to talk about the process of creating a game that was fun and educational, and what’s next for the studio.
